CCSSO invites you join us for a special virtual event on February 3, 2021
American students’ reading scores on national tests have remained mostly stagnant for two decades. The Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO) has committed to working with states to change this trajectory and ensure every child has the support they need to read successfully. In January 2020, CCSSO hosted the National Summit on Literacy aimed at enhancing the collective understanding of what is at stake and how states are leading to improve literacy skills for students -- with a focus on students whose reading ability is below their grade level.
CCSSO will release a new report focused on actions state leaders can take to improve reading skills for students and exploring how to help states make these actions a reality. Join us to learn more and hear from state leaders and experts in the field as we discuss what it takes to address this critical issue.
Please join us Wednesday, February 3 from 2:00 – 3:30 PM ET for an engaging virtual event. A final agenda will be sent soon. After successfully completing registration, you will receive an email confirmation with instructions for how to access this virtual session.
Advance registration is required and complimentary.
